Docsumo allows for extracting information from faxes and auto-populating into new contact creation.

Connecting to Tellescope

To connect Docsumo to Tellescope, first provide your API key on the Integrations page in Tellescope

Configuring in Tellescope

Go to Organization > Integrations > Docsumo

In Docsumo, find the document type that you want to use, and copy into the Document Type field

Using an existing document you've uploaded for this type in Docsumo, click the link, and copy the Document ID from the URL, e.g.

After clicking import, you should see a list of the fields configured in Docsumo. All fields across sections in Docsumo should have a unique name. 

You can then select the relevant Tellescope fields that the Docsumo fields should map to. Press Save Changes at the top to save your imported fields and the mapping to Tellescope fields.

Using in Tellescope

When viewing an incoming fax, you can first select the Docsumo Document type from your above configuration, and then click a button to upload to Docsumo. When it is done processing, you can click "Docsumo Extract", which will take the extracted data and pre-populate into a new contact creation screen.
