Connecting a User Account to Zoom
On the Integrations page in Tellescope, find the Zoom card, and click it to initialize a connection to Zoom. Each Zoom account in your organization should only be connected to one Tellescope account.
You will be prompted to log in to Zoom if you're not already. Then, you will be prompted to allow Tellescope access to some permissions for your Zoom account. Click allow, and then you will be redirected by to Tellescope. Your page should show that Zoom is integrated
Using Zoom
With Zoom integrated, users can now edit Calendar Event Templates in Tellescope to use the Zoom integration. Events which are created or self-scheduled with these templates will prompt users to start a Zoom call when the event is about to start. This will generate a link and open Zoom.
Disconnecting a User Account from Zoom
On the same Integrations page where Zoom was connected, click "Remove Integration" to remove Zoom from your account.
The following information is considered deprecated and applies to Zoom integrations enabled before August 2024
[Deprecated] Admin Setup
💡 After a recent Zoom update, you must create a “Build Legacy App” for the following instructions to be applicable
You’ll start by configuring an “OAuth app” in your Zoom organization. Make sure you’re logged in to Zoom, then go to the following page:
https://marketplace.zoom.us/develop/create
Click “Create” on the OAuth card
- App Name
- {{Your Name}} and Tellescope
- Choose app type
- User-managed app
- Publish this app on Zoom App Marketplace
- No
💡 In your created app, you’ll see a Client ID and Client Secret.
While logged in as an Admin in Tellescope, you should save these values by going to Organization > Zoom
App Credentials Page
In addition to accessing the Client ID and Client Secret from above, you must set the following URLs for the Redirect URL and allow lists
Sebastian Coates, sebass@tellescope.com
Information Page
You may leave most of this blank, but for developer contact, use
Sebastian Coates, sebass@tellescope.com
Feature Page
You can skip this page
Scopes

- View your meetings
- View and manage your meetings
Under User, check the following scopes
- View your user information
- View and manage your user information

User-Level Integration
When the above admin setup is complete, and Tellescope has configured your client ID and client secret behind the scenes, each user with a Zoom account should log in to Tellescope and connect their Zoom account here:
https://business.tellescope.com/integrations
💡 Avoid connecting the same Zoom account to multiple Tellescope accounts, as it will likely only work for the most recently-connected account
