Using the Appointment Booking question type in a Form allows you to display specific availabilities and booking pages based upon a response you receive in a form.
- If you want to allow a patient to select the provider they would like to schedule with, you should check the box "Allow user selection" and select the tag that you want to utilize for provider selection
- If you want to show the composite of all availabilities and allow booking for any providers that meet specific criteria, then you should Filter By Tags. To do this, type in the Tags where it says "Filter available users by matching all tags (leave blank for new filter)". After doing this, providers who have all of the tags listed will be considered when showing availabilities.
Booking Confirmation
- For a form that has an Appointment Booking question type, you can specify when the select appointment should be "confirmed"
- By default, when a patient selects a time to schedule their appointment timeslot will be confirmed even if they have not completed the form that the Appointment Booking question type is in
- By choosing a different time, the appointment slot will only be held for the specified amount of time if the form is not yet completed.
- If the amount of time you specify passes between the patient selecting the timeslot and not completing the form, the time the patient selected will be removed from your calendar and will be open for another patient to book.

- You cannot use appointment confirmations for held events.
- Reminders do not process until an event is confirmed by the form submission
