Ticket Templates allow you to create standardized tickets with pre-filled titles, priority levels, and tags. This helps maintain consistency when users are manually creating tickets and subsequently makes them easier to filter and organize.
Creating Ticket Templates (For Admins)
- Navigate to Organization → Tickets → Ticket Templates
- Click the + button to create a new template
- Enter a template title (name of the ticket), set the priority level, and add tags
- Save the template
Creating Tickets from Templates
- From your Tickets page, click the template button (appears next to "Add Ticket" if templates exist)
- Select the template you want to use
- Review the pre-filled information and add any additional details
- Click "Save" to create the ticket
Note: Tickets created from templates are linked to their source template, making it easy to track which template was used.
Filtering on Tickets from Templates
You can then filter on the specific ticket titles defined in the templates, ensuring that tickets won't be lost due to inconsistencies (i.e discrepancies in naming)
