Scheduling: Generating an ics file

• Afer self-scheduling patients are given the option to download an ics file so they can add the appointment to their calendar. The ics file just contains the booking page event title (below) so we're not sharing PHI

Sending ics File

• You can also send an ics file as part of a template string that could be used as an appointment confirmation or reminder message. 
• Template string for including ICS file download links in calendar event reminders, e.g. {{calendar_event.ics_link:click here to download}}
